4L60E shift kit question

4L60E shift kit question

I just was givin a kit for what says a 4L60E. Only thing is on the box it says 95!? I was just wondering if A: the LT1 came with a 4L60E? B: I have a 00 TA A4 would this kit work?

part number for the Trans Go kit is K61908E

The box is orange. He gave it too me. One of the guys in my shop that knows tranny's said it should be find . . . But I thought I might as well ask round here cause some of ya'll have had experiance

What all is contained in the kit? LT1's used the 4L60E from '94-'97...The LS1 from '98-'02. The 2000-up 4L60E uses a different seperator plate and gaskets. If your kit contains a plate and gaskets, a '95 kit WON'T work in your 2000 transmission. If it's just a bunch of springs and shims, etc. that most kits give you, most parts should be interchangeable.
