4l60e Pump issue

Hi,

I rebuild my transmission and put a new daico converter and a new pump. But when I put back the transmission the car don’t move. I think that not have pressure, so we take off the transmission and the converter and don’t see any oil in the converter. I think the problem is the pump that maybe don’t is the correct one for the 4l60e.

I heard that for this transmission comes two different oils pump is that true ???

You did remember the filter, right? Did it (filter) fit tight in the boot in the pump?

You didn't break the pump rotor when you installed it, did you? It's pretty common to have someone break a rotor because the converter isn't all the way in. The pressure regulator valve (in the pumnp) didn't blow out did it? Are you sure the pressure regulator is assembled correctly?

There are several pumps for the 4L60E. Early (non PWM), Late '95-'97 PWM with short stator and '98-up LS1 style with long stator. What year is yours?
