4l60e Problem, NEED help!

1994 Camaro z28
I have a 4l60e has you can see, Well i will jump right into it. Well i was just put my motor in my car and a few days later my Transmission went out . It will shift into 1st and 2nd Fine, Well sometimes for some reason it once's to rev up 6000 RPM then shift.

Well i took my it to a transmission shop to have them look it over, They gave me a call within a few hours and told me that they seen a few wires burnt that went to the transmission it's self. Well i took in home, and looked under it but didn't see nothing. (BUT I DON'T HAVE A LIFT) They also said That the PCM was not telling the transmission when to shift, but why would it tell it to shift into 1st and 2nd.

I was wanting to no if you guys think they was giving me some BullS**T to get me out of the door because they think i just wanted to get a free Diagnosis, because my motor it self is built and they knew if they would tell me then i would do it myself. So if you think this could be true or right, which wire could be burnt or could a new PCM fix's it and i had someone do a base tune on my PCM two times after this happend. Well thanks for your time, everyone have a good day.

The 3-4 clutch pack has went away from your description of what happened. This is very common on these units. Still, check the wiring out for any problems. The 3-4 clutch pack problems are easily addressed, and there are a few additional things that can be upgraded while the transmission is apart. The right torque converter is another part of getting what you want out of your setup. Depends on what you want to do here, and what you can afford.

Are the packs something hard to do, or is it something that the transmission needs to be torn down to get the packs in there? Im good at this transmission stuff so all the info will be a great help.

Let's look at this like this. A transmission shop is going to try to sell you a transmission anyway possible. If THEY told you some wires were bad, then I'd check them all a little better.
