i normally have to turn 6800ish i kno it not safe but what the hell neither is 150mph. i love the 4.56 gear ppl should really give it a shot.

Im running 4.33s in a 12 bolt. I also had these gears with the stock cam, and they were a bit too much. Put me too high RPM wise crossing the traps.

With the cam though, they are perfect. Cross traps in 4th about 6400(i think, dont remember exactly). Shift points are 6700 for car, so i still have some more room to go faster

4.56s in a 10 bolt would be suicide. In 9 inch/12 bolt with cam and heads. Hell ya.

Gas mileage really wont go down much at all. Just use less throttle to keep up same speed, even though rpms are higher. Cam/4.33s i get 24-26 mpg on highway. Not bad by any means.

Top speed of gears? No idea, im never goin to find out anyways.

 

if my calculations are correct assuming a aproximate cicumfrance of a tire is 60inches ur top speed runs around 175

thats just crazy.... i 've got a friend that ran from the cops doing 170, and exited the highway at 120... his car was pretty insane (to us) though, 98 z, LG stage 2 heads, LG 5 cam, LS6 shortblock, and like $7000 in suspension stuff. That thing was glued to the road. said he was stupid as hell for doing it, but he didn't have much choice. They were clocked at 120, so they'd go straight to jail. But he said he'd never do that again.. oh eya, he has 3.73's in a 12-bolt and wishes he'd gone with 4.10's.

 

did he get away successfully from the cops?

i know we can usually outrun the car but cant outrun the radio... so it would be pretty awesome to hear a story about a cop lossing

how successfully can the lt1s or ls1's run from the crown vics?
one of my friends said they are supercharged and another said they are goverend at 120 are either of those statements true?
if i remember correctly they are high 17 second cars arent they? (stock)

i know i ran from the gated community athorities (rangers) i was a 1/2 mile away before he was done turning around (was late for work)

 

It's been a long time since cop cars had anything special under the hood. They have stock motors AFAIK. Locally, the Stats Poliz use 4th gens, at least for now. The current cars are LS1 cars. But a stock 4th gen would have no trouble with a cop Crown Vic, all in theory of course.
