373 gear down-sides?
You'll run out of gear sooner
Gas mileage may be slightly effected, but if you're not keeping a log, you probably won't notice.
Engine will run higher when cruising, and be a bit louder. Rpms at 75 would be approx. 2700 I think.- If you do a lot of high speed cruising, you may actually notice a difference in mileage. If it's mostly around town or on local highways where you really only go 60, I don't think you'll notice.

Since your car is and auto you will want to invest in a Torque Converter like 2800 or 3000 stall. otherwise cruising will be absolute hell.

well, its not really that big of a difference when it comes down to it but you wont have to be idleing at 3500 RPMs when your cruising down the highway at 65 so it does make a little bit of difference.

75 = 2500 RPM on the nose. I noticed a huge drop in gas mileage. My friend has stock 2.73 gears in his Z and he gets about 280 to the tank with his A4.. i get maybe a little over 200, with not much freeway driving.
