which aftermarket rear is best? what are the pros and cons of each, when i need a new rear should i get moser 12 bolt or ford 9"? or what other 12 bolt? thanks for the info

 

You might want to try a "search".... this topic gets posted every month or so, and there are some reasonably complete responses in the earlier threads.

 

It really depends on whether or not you have traction control.. If you do then you can get the 9" w/o any loss of ABS and your TCS.. But!! if you don't have traction control then you'll lose abs w/ the 9".. The 12 bolt offer's both the 3 channel (non-TCS) and the 4 channel (TCS).. If you love to beat the snot out of your car then and don't mind the loss of abs/tcs then by all means get a 9" if you just want a upgraded rear for the occasional drag strip outing get the 12 bolt it'll more than suit your needs.. But in my opinion If you need abs it's too late and we all turn the tcs off anyway. so.. Go w/ the 9"

 

when i do a search on 12 bolt the search says invalid because 12 is only 2 numbers.

 

I tried "9-inch" and got 33 hits. Or.... "12-bolt" or "Moser", or "Strange"..... etc.
