01 Z-28 10 Bolt in 96?

Want to put rear end with 4.10's in my 96 z-28, found one out of a 01 z-28. Is this a direct "bolt-in", is there anything I should be concerned with? No brakes just axle housing/assembly.

You also need to make sure both cars have the same sensor system for the ABS. If a car has only ABS, there's a single sensor on the top of the diff housing. It a car has ABS + TCS there are wheel sensors on both ends of the axle housings. You can't interchange them unless both cars had the same sensor setup.

Re: 01 Z-28 10 Bolt in 96?

Is it that easy, or does it effect the ABS? I'm having issues with it now, LOW TRAC comes up and the ABS off light is on most of the time anyways. How do you determine which is which(rear end that is). I went under today and the harness looks like it's be "modified" one wire cut-off and other(s) taped. Just bought car, it's possible it's already been changed out? I can't seem to get the warnings light to turn off, they do intermittently but for very short periods.
