i think if brian makes soem mods to get a little more air into tehcar he will end up keeping the gears.
the cam is not too radical by any stretch, but it seems to be a bit much for the otehrwise stock motor. from what i have seen about LT1's he woudl benefit greatly from a massaged set of heads.
we shoudl prolly also mention that brian;s car is very much a full weight ride. it still has leather seats, a/c, and power eveything. only thing that was off the car when he started runnign in teh 11's was teh front sway bar.

Hey Frank95z, just out of curosity, do you have any videos of you car. I would like to hear how it idles. I am going to do a cam install for a friend of mine and i told him that you have a great cam. He just wants to hear how it idles.

The only video I have on the web that I know of is on page 3 of this message board under Video's from Thundershootout. Mine is Frank95z's 11.69 pass. I don't remember if you can hear the idle but you can see the effect of the cam The cam idles smooth with a little lope and for me it has produced good power. Good Luck Frank95z

 

The cam that I have has very little lope after it warms up. When the car is cold, especially in the winter, it lopes pretty hard. the guy who I am doing the install for was curious in the comparison of your cam to mine. He wants a little more lope than I have but the same power and driveability.
