Slick Recommendation...

My current setup is a 383 blown Camaro making over 700 rwhp. I currently have a Moser 9-in with a 3.50 gear. Any suggestions on what size slick I should run? I shift my car at 6000 rpm and it is a 6-speed? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried running a 26x10.5x16 in Street ET and could only give it half throttle but I still managed to net 127 mph through the traps.

Its still an ET street but there is 26x11.5x16 also. The contact patch is over an inch wider. If that wont cut it an ET drag or 15" rim maybe on order.

I would be looking at ET Drags, a minimum of 28" in diametere, more likely 29 inch for your application. They have quite a selection: http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/strip_et_drag.html

Thanks for the input. Don't you think a 29" tire will kill my gearing?

I think you need to do some actual math with your desired shift points, tranny and gear ratios, and calculate where you want to be in the traps. I run a 28" ET Street with 3.73 gears and a 700R4 tranny. You have a lot more HP than I do... I think you can turn them just fine but without actually doing the mat or having any torque figures I am just guessing.
