Should I go 4 link?
Should I go 4 link?
Hi. I currently have a Terminator torque arm on my 91 RS. It is mounted to the tunnel with a shaft and cylinder(you can separate the arm from the mount). It makes a little noise during shifts and cruising. It is good for better ets than I will probably see. I plan on mid to high tens. It is just aggravating.
Plus, I am in the market for a 12 bolt. I want to know if somehow the 4 link setup plus the 12 bolt will be better for my goals or should I stick with the torque arm, get a 12 bolt with the arm mount and forget the noise?
Thanks, Mike

A good aftermarket 3 link system works well for most people. Installing a 4 link will require back halving the car since the floorboards will need to be cut out for the front mounts. There's just not enough room under the floor to properly install a 4-link.
