Possible stall change, how will it affect me?

I currently have a Vigilante 3200 stall converter and am having the high stall issue and can't seem to get rid of it. I am thinking of dropping the stall down to a 2800. How much do you think it will affect my 1/4 performance naturally aspirated, if any.

I am going to drop this down, which should get rid of the high stall problem and start launching on ET Streets with a 150 shot also, that should help the 60'. So I am not worried about the performance on the bottle.

There has been a thread going around that many people have confirmed that adjusting the shift cable by one or two turns has fixed this problem. I have heard that it can be solved in the pcm (kickdown tables??) but I hear mixed reviews on this. Anyway, try an find that thread. It was on ls1tech.com I believe. It is very long and many have confirmed it to work from them.

How's it launch now? If it's spinning itr might be better.

It does spin on take off, just sometimes it won't shift, when it gets pretty good traction.

I am going a different route now, bigger custom grind cam and it will probably need the 3200, so I guess I will keep working on it.

PoorMan, I will go there and try to find that thread, any idea what it was called? what forum it was in?

Thanks guys
