New best in the SS - 12.7 @ 109.9
Ran a new best in the SS today.
The DA was 2400'. I was running on 26 x 10.50 ET Streets. What a trick trying to get the car to leave hard with 3.42s....the 26" slicks make the gear roughly equivalent to a 3.23. My best pass was made slipping the clutch quickly at ~ 4800 RPM. Any attempt to side step the clutch would make the car bog terribly.
Here's what the run looked like:
60' ..... 2.027 (
)
330'..... 5.450
1/8 ..... 8.279
1/8 MPH 87.265
1000'.....10.647
1/4 ..... 12.768
MPH ..... 109.927
Overall I'm pleased with how the car is running, given the 2400' DA and being severely under geared. There is still some power to be found in the tune I'm sure. The O2 voltages averaged ~ 915 - 920 mv, a little rich. I need to get the car on a dyno and get the a/f dialed in.

Re: New best in the SS - 12.7 @ 109.9
Thanks guys.
I have the stock catback on the car, but also have a 3" cutout. I like being able to close the cutout, and still have a relatively quiet car.
