Cool went to the track last night!

Well, Me and a friend of mine went to the track last night. The track conditions were horrard. It was slick as ice and just plan sucked. We only ran eachother once, other than that, we just killed all the ricers. I could not get a good 60'... I normally pull a 2.0x 60' and run a 13.6x @ 101... but last night I only managed a 2.1 60' and 13.8x @ 100-101.
When my buddy and I ran, we both spun BAD... his 60' was 2.3 and 13.68 @ 106 (given that he always 13.0 @ 109 and pulled 12.80 @ 109.9 4 times). I thought I was going to lose it when on the 1-2 shift, I had to get out of it. We were just about even till the 1/8 (both cut a 9.0x 1/8) then he shifted into 3rd. and then walked on me, I pulled a 13.90 @ 101. whats weird is that the clock showed me at 14.00 @ 101, but the slip read 13.90 @ 101.40

I have a 00 Trans Am A4 w/ a muffler and the FRA. (not even a lid) and he has a beautiful 02 Camaro SS M6 w/ Lous Short throw shift, a lid, bellows and SLP center mount catback.

Man...that florida heat and humidity must really be killin' you guys. Your trap speed looks kinda low even for an a4. I would think even in heat and humidity and a 2.1x 60' you should still be trapping at least 102 or 103. Who knows, maybe that lid would be good for a mph or so .
