New Best 1/8th ET and MPH!!

The track we like to race at is annoying today...they first say they are running at 1-5 so the car is loaded up and hauled down there this AM (3+ hour trip). Get to the gates, opening at regular time, 6ish....hang out in BFE then show up and unload, announcement is made just 1/8th mile runs

And the air is great!! and the 1/8th mile pass is unreal!!

1.59 spinning bad
7.471 @ 91.3

for those wondering what that is in the 1/4, my car usually has a conversion factor in the .635ish area (that info is not handy right now). So using that it would have been in the 11.76 range (assuming it all went well the last half of the track, which with the 4.33s the shifts are already made so it would just be traction and that is never a problem for this car on top end).

sucks that the track is not running all out b/c it would have been some good numbers, that 91.3 is 1MPH more than the 115 pass :eek2:

Using both NHRA's and my math, that 1/8 run converts to 11.673 in the 1/4.

Basically, you divide your 1/8 time by .640 to calculate the 1/4 equivalent.

Damn!! -300ft DA, that is insane air. My new best in my sig was in 2000ft DA. I'd love to get some of that air and be all in the 6's @ around 97-98mph. Oh ya, for your mods your hauling a$$ dude, congrats!

Re: New Best 1/8th ET and MPH!!

-300 is not even the best we ran in....it has been -700.
We backed up the 7.471 with a 7.45 today at a different track, Shady Side in NC.

I am running Herron Performance LCAs. I would not run any other swaybar set up (well, the BMR is the same as Spohn). Looked at the Wolfe set up on a fast car today and it is bending/breaking endlinks, just dont like it so I will keep my 'heavy' set up.

.64, is even better than what I normally convert to.....635ish!!
