My Bolt on Best!! Let me know what u think...

WEnt to the GA Fbody Shootout today and had a great time.
The weather was pretty good. About 70 degrees and 70% humidity.

Mods to the car are: Hooker LTs, Custom 3' pipe, SLP 2OTL Catback gears (4.10). RAM AIR and CAI and CUTOUT.
RACE WEIGHT with me in the car: 3585LBS..without me 3395lbs.

Best runs were done with the cutout open and RAM AIR.

RAM AIR ________________ SLP CAI
R/T .765 ________________R/T .658
60' 2.053________________60' 2.18
330: 5.705 ________________330: 5.895
1/8: 8.666 ________________ 1/8: 8.854
MPH: 84.41 ________________ MPH: 83.43
1000: 11.200________________1000: 11.454
1/4: 13.32 ________________ 1/4: 13.51
MPH: 106.81 ________________MPH: 105.8

I was gettin pretty much same times with teh cutout CLOSED so i dont know whats up with that..i guess 2OTL flows pretty damn good...highest trap with the cutout closesd was 106.4

What do u guys think? Pretty good for the mods?

The 97 LT1 cams have a higher lift and I believe also duration than the '93-'95. That could be part of it...

Higher lift on a 97' cam??? I thought they were all the same on LT1s.

Nope, they're different. I believe '96 had a slight increase, and then another one in '97.

I found it in the F-Body FAQ, which you can probably still find online somewhere...

some cars just run harder than others....

he spun more than you, and at times that can increase MPH a bit...
