Line Lock users inside...
I'm getting ready to purchase/install a line lock system on my '94 z28, A4. Need advice on which one is best. SLP has a complete unit for our cars, as does Hurst. Did a search; not much help. What are your recommendations?? Thanks!!
I'm with Raptor. If you want one that looks pretty, buy a Hurst. I also use a Biondo. They all do the same job. Biondo is cheap and works well.
The only problems you're going to have is brake line conversion. Around the mid 80's GM started using metric bubble flare lines. All the adaptor fittings for a line lock use an inverted double flare. If you buy a kit, make sure it does this conversion.

I've got the SLP...i bought it just for simplicity since it already came w/pre-bent lines ect....the intstall was very straight forward and probably took a little less than an hour, and that was after wiring the switch and everything...bleeding the brakes took about as long as the install of the lines and solenoid
...the SLP unit is a little pricey but for me it was the way to go due to the fact i didn't feel like tearing up another set of rear brake pads and i had to race that weekend...i've been very happy with it thus far as i am with everything i ever purchased from SLP
