One thing I've noticed on my car is that it runs like **** when heat soaked. When you get to the track, let the engine cool off for 30-40 minutes before you run (if you drove the car for more than an hour to get there then let it sit for at least 50). If at all possible push the car thru the staging area.
I went to the track (Fontana CA 2000 ft. elevation) for the 1st time on Sat. and ran 14s on my first two runs. My ETs and MPH got better on every run as the temperature outside dropped from 92 down to low 80s. the car was also allowed to cool off for about 2 hrs between runs. Here's the times I got:
(engine on for 3 hours prior to 1st run)
3:02PM ----- 14.014@100.02 with a 2.181 60'
(couldn't avoid the water box so I spun badly)
5:03PM ----- 14.126@100.69 with a 2.425 60'
6:40PM ----- 13.879@101.25 with a 2.262 60'
8:37PM ----- 13.845@101.90 with a 2.263 60'
Get your 60' down to a 2.2 and you will see 13s (that is unless you live in Denver).

I noticed you said this was your best slip:
Reaction--.917
60ft--2.188
330 ft--6.027
1/8 ET--9.198
1/8 MPH--78.13
1000' ET--11.865
1/4 ET--14.157
1/4 MPH--100.48
I also noticed that when your friend drove the car even though the times sucked it ran nearly 103, quite a bit faster than you ran. As others have asked, when are you shifting and at what RPM's are you launching at? Your 60 foot is a bit slow, but that should not account for the poor mph. Unfortunately all of us can't run on super fast east coast tracks. A short belt might help get you there.

My advice, put gas pedal all the way to the floor, shift @ 5800RPM's, and don't be afraid to get on the car hard! Also don't just dump the clutch of the line. Try to feather or bog the car then smash pedal, try to get best acceleration off the line without burning out. Thats all I can think of.
