I'm curious as to what the 1/4 times were for stock 77-81ish f-bodies. I'm sure with the 6 cyl's and the 305's they were turds, but did any crack the 14's??? (T/A 6.6 4 speed?)

My 77 Z28 with a few mods ran 15.9 @ 86mph

 

my 79 with a few mods (intake carb full exhuast new engine rebuild and RV cam) ran 15.1 with really good traction and a munci 4speed.. that was with 2.7x rear end (highway gears)

 

I dont understand,mine has a small cam,intake/carb,headers and gears and runs high 11's. So that means his T/A runs like...alot slower.

 

my old '81 ran a best of 13.73 @ 100 with a small cam, 2000rpm stall and 3.08 gears and a holley 600 vac secondary
