Squeaked out a new best tonight

Had the car dyno tuned last week and was finally able to make full WOT runs. Got a new best tonight but I couldn't hook up very well at all. Tried a few different combinations but since the converter is much tighter with a higher stall i'm still getting used to how the car likes to launch.

Last year: Tonight:

1.6780 60 ft 1.7309
4.7469 330 ft 4.7628
7.3489 1/8 et 7.3460
93.97 1/8 mph 95.12
9.5639 1000' et 9.5368
11.4628 1/4 et 11.4478
120.66 1/4 mph 119.96

Not too bad I guess - rebuilding my QA1's tomorrow so maybe those will help with the 60's. End of the year I was hitting 1.61's pretty consistent.

Nice man, and getting your 60' back down could get you an 11.2x

I'd say that pretty nice, but is there an issue you have? Just wondering why you lost a couple mph on the big end. Either way, damn nice to be runnin low snakeeyes. Good luck man--I wanna see that stock shortblock hit a ten before it gives in

Ian

Edit: wow, I can't read--you were less than 1 mph off; like I said, gimme a ten!!

Re: Squeaked out a new best tonight

I think the MPH is off a bit because of the new converter and the weather last night. I haven't checked into it to much but I think it's a combination of things. I started out last night at 115 and moved to 117 before finally hitting the 119. I'm sure had I stayed a bit longer I could have gotten back in the 120's - but way too many kids there last night. Like a bad episode of Romper Room meets F&F.

Your car was running real strong. Had to be very happy. I think they were letting 3 imports in for the price of 1!!

That dyno sheet is from last year - I had ignition issues. I haven't posted the latest dyno sheet that PCMForLess did a couple weeks ago.
