I don't count passes but it has alot. Here is a pic leaving to a 1.5X 60' http://www.soslow.cz28.com/slide_sho...pilot_running= I keep waiting for it to break from the horror stories but knock on wood no breakage.

he has an LS1 auto with only a lid, headers, cutout, and stall. he ran 11.9X with 2.73's, and was hoping to better his time. he had 3 passes of 12.0X before his new 3.42 rear gave out.

Those are his only mods? No sticky tires, suspension, weight reduction, etc? Then I call

Steve, that was my point too. No way he's running 11.9 unless it's stripped down or something.

I agree too. Not to mention, if he only had 3 passes on a new set of 3.42's before they broke then they weren't set up right - sticky tires or not.

I saw the guy at braggin rights at Jackson, and it did indeed break. I don't think its BS, he has a larger stall than most of you guys would expect. What makes this BS? Not every camaro weighs 3800 lbs and cuts 2.0 60's all day long. My friends Mustang went 7.7s @ 90mph with 330 rwhp. Heck, that is slow. Another guy in town, he's on the board here, went 7.70s with 280 rwhp. Wide powerband, good suspension, and traction are all it takes. How many cammed camaros do you guys see with only 330 hp run 115 traps. I dont see many. Then again, when I compare my friends dyno, he has about 30 more hp from 2500 on up. I have yet to see any LT1 car with a cam make more than my LT only car before 5000 rpms. Peak numbers dont mean squat. If you dont think an LS1 could dyno around 330 stock, or with minor mods, you are fooling yourself. No BS in his times.
