Eibach drag launch springs/ air bag ??

I just put in my drag launch springs and I was wondering what, those of you who are using them, are running for psi in the air bag ?? Thanks.

I typically ran mine at 15psi at the track. Didn't seem to make a lot of difference adding or subtracting a few pounds pressure. For the street, just run it at the recommended minimum of 5psi.

Allright. I will set it at 15 tomorrow when I hit the track. I bought the set used and had no idea how much to put in there. Thanks.

"Set"....... if you are running them in both sides, the drivers side is 5psi and the passenger side is 15-20.

When I said set I was just refering to the set of four springs and just the one air bag for the pass. side. I ran it at 15 today. I actually had worse ET's today then before I put on the springs and adjustable shocks and pulled the front sway bar. Dissapointing.

It was 1/8th mile on an airport runway with no track prep at 90 degrees out too so that didn't help.
Ended up in the money though with third place. I've placed in every race I've made it to so far this year. Even if it runs slower it runs so consistant a guy can win the bracket racing. I red lighted when there were 4 cars left and ended up running for 3rd and 4th and got 3rd. Doesn't suck though..

Thanks for all the help guys.

Your setup is now adjustable with the shocks and air bag, throw in tire pressure as well and you need to start taking notes and changing things and see how it goes.
I just put the drag launch kit in and some KYB AGX adjustables, BMR Torque arm (adjustable) and Weld XPs with Nittos. I fully expect the car to slow down until I figure the suspension out.
I am looking forward to it though.

Lightbulb I Concur...

With REVTIME... every car is a little different and you need to EXPERIMENT to find the best settings for EVERYTHING. Air bag pressure is always iffy, at least for me. I, for 5 years didn't even put in any air after trying everything, pressure wise. Now with a 4140 rpm converter, I find that 17-18 pounds WORKS.

So... use us as a 'get you in the ballpark' type of info center and yourself as the final "FINE" tuner. Oh... if you haven't noticed it yet, everything changes at different tracks and weather conditions. What you are trying to find is a HAPPY medium you can live with. We aren't Pro/Stock racers now, are we?

And yes DOCUMENT your test and times! All the info pertinent to your changes and ET's, MPH's and WEATHER conditions.
Barometric Pressure has the most impact on ET's.
Followed closely by temp AND humidity.
