front fender wells...

Well, on cars that go "fast" I see alot of them with no front fender wells.. They can just take the front end and fenders off, and see the motor on all sides very easily. I want to do this with my 95 camaro. I have done serious weight reduction and would like to do more. This is strictly a drag car. I have not had any experience with how the fenders and front end stay in place.. how would I go about doing this.

Re: front fender wells...

You "will not" be able to do this to your 95. 4th Gen F-Bodys (93-02) have complete uni-bodys (front to rear) in-place-of a true frame. Therefore, your front inner fender wells are also the uni-body construction and front spring towers. 1st and 2nd Gens have front sub-frames which bolt to the rear uni-body, so those year models have a removable inner fender well.
