First Bogart Drag rim P2 production out for F-bodies!

This will work on either LS1's or LT1's. If you have an LS1 though, you ether need to convert to the LT1 style rear calipers/rotors. The LT1 brakes are more desirable from a weight standpoint anyways as they are much lighter then the LS1's.

Obviously, if you have drag brakes, just about everything fits without issues. This is a first using the stock rear caliper/rotors.

Remember that weight isn't the only factor when considering rims. Its not just how much weight a wheel weighs, its how its distributed on the wheel. The bogart design incorporates most of the weight (especially with the P2 series) towards the center of rotation of the wheel. What this does is keep the rotating mass down. Therefore a 10 lb weight with most of the weight on the outside is much worse then a 10 lb wheel primarily with its weight towards the center of the wheels rotation. It happens to be that not only is the bogart design very good from an engineering standpoint, but it's the lightest wheels out there for each series it runs.

These rims are for drag racing only!! Cars under 3300#'s are the weight limit of these rims.

You can view the first P2 rims on an F-body with stock rears on my site located towards the bottom.

If anyone has any further questions, feel free to email or call me with specifics. I am very familiar with the bogart line.

Steve

Steve: what size are the tires/rims on the silver car on your site?

Thanks.

I believe your referring to Bruce Rowe's car. His car was the first LS1 to have D10's on it . They are one of the most popular selling rim designs right now.

The fronts are MTT-1573's and the rears are MTT-3752's I believe.

They will tuck 1/4 inch more on your car due to the LT1 design.
