Just curious I'd like to know who it is so far. I don't think I'm gonna ever make mine 'track' legal, but I would like to see how I would stack up!

off of the top of my head, i know of two blown 3rdgen verts.... then theres fredo with his LT1/T56 3rdgen vert.... then theres the one im building... blown solid roller 400sbc vert with T56.....

all camaros BTW.

 

how quick are these guys? and how quick are you planning on being?

 

im shooting for 10's on spray with my 383/T-56 89 IROC vert.

 

that is the reason I don't see myself being a threat at the track ... I don't want the halo part of the roll cage on my vert, and I don't want to put a 9" in

 

check out the latest GM hightech mag. OOOPs!. Just realized you wanted 6 speed only. But....this guy Duke has an LS1 Trans AM vert running 8.52 at 163 . Its an auto with more than 1000HP.

I went mid-10's in my street/strip 'vert with the 6-speed. Full weight car.

none of us really care for roll bars (hey, if we wanted a 2 seater, we would have bought one) so none of us are 1/4mile legal.


i can get away with it at the local 8thmile though... i'll have times posted when shes together.

 

George Baxter used to roll a 6-speed... but it's been swapped out for some time. I don't recall where he was at the time of the swap, but low-11's sounds about right. He's running single-digits now from what I've read.
