My best 1/8 mile pass is an 8.12 @ 83 on a 1.700 60' time. I didn't have a helmet so I wasn't able to make any full passes that night. My best ever 1/4 mile time was a 13.53 @ 61 mph..LOL. That was from rolling out of it at the 1/8 mile and coasting through the 1/4. I'm hoping for mid twelves next time out.

I've made numerous 1.6xx 60' times on the stock 10 bolt 3.73 gears/girdle/eaton posi with a 3000 stall on M/T DR and salad shooters. The last time I ran before I sold the ten bolt was a 1.589. It still held up fine on the drive home. I upgraded to the 12 bolt before I blew the 10 bolt and sold it relatively cheap for what I had into it.

it is huge, you can have a 12.5 second car at sea level bring to my 4000 feet and never pull better than a 13.4 (that is a na car)

Our tracks here in MI are all around 700' but we're surronded by lakes and the DA during the summer is usually around 2500-3300'.

Track time

Since your probably very close to Minot you need to make some runs there and find out for sure b/c the track does separate the b from the s (lol) and the alt. there is under 2,000 ft. Also my buddy has a 96z vert and even w/3.42,2800 vig stall, nittos, and some susp.mods can only do a 2.03 60ft.at our local track so any camaro that does a 1.8/1.7 60 ft. esp.w/stk susp.has to have lots of mods! The alt.at our track is 1600 ft. and my car w/less gear,no stall, less weight, than buddies couldn,t do under 2.0,and b/f i bought my mt et streets the mt tire rep.said i might do 1.95,so either there,s something screwy w/my car or just maybe it,s a lot harder to run these no,s than it looks.

Track prep,etc.

Good point and a further point is that our local track is volunteer run and doesn,t even have concrete on starting line.I have to travel 150 mii.to the track and i,m glad there is one at all.

I hit a 1.84 sixty foot in my T/A at least 50 times last season launch on a 65 shot without anything more than a WOT switch.

Everything else on the car was stock besides bfgs, i didnt even have any of the exhaust done much less any aftermarket suspension. You should be fine as far as the 1.7-1.8 sixty time.

But with your mods i would imagine more of a 1.6 sixty AT LEAST if the track and altitude is good. If not i would go elsewhere to run my times.
