2.6 60' vs a 2.0 60' time
2.6 60' vs a 2.0 60' time
i ran a 14.6 at 97 mph with a 2.6 60' time. i'm wandering what i could run if i could get it to hook good enough for a 2.0 60'. i heard a tenth off our 60' = 2 thenths off you et is that correct?
Re: 2.6 60' vs a 2.0 60' time
I had my truck out on the weekend. MPH on 4 runs was almost identical so it was making the same amount of HP each time. Traction was a problem though.
60' ---- 1/4 mile
2.166 - 15.041
2.282 - 15.154
2.453 - 15.376
2.432 - 15.376
All 4 runs were from 89.27 to 89.8 mph. If it wasn't for the wheel spin with the street tires, all the runs should have been 15.0x. For some reason the first pass in mid morning was the best for me.

Re: 2.6 60' vs a 2.0 60' time
I always use 1.5X as a "rule of thumb", but it seems like its a lot more variable than that. 1.5 x 0.6 = 0.9, so sort of agrees with Rich's experience.
Re: 2.6 60' vs a 2.0 60' time
The difference can be pretty big. I would definitely say about .9 or so.
Couple weekends ago I was hitting 1.7x 60's all day and running 13.3x all day. On one run I spun to a 2.0 60' and ran a 13.9x. So 60' means a lot.
