Are 11's in my future
Here is my best times from last night. I still have somethings, I want to do to the car, but is it possible to get into the 11's first.
60' 1.984
1/8 8.080
MPH 89.59
1000 10.425
1/4 12.417
MPH 113.60

You can come close by working on your launch, and getting the 60' down a couple tenths, but I see a coulpe things that are REALLY holding you back.
1. Get some other headers...longtubes, or at least SLP shorties.
2. and this is a BIG ONE...get a different tune...NOW! BV is notorious in the Chicagoland area as being the worst tuner in the area. He has no knowledge of how to tune, and he has been proved a crock. I know of dozens of cars that have picked up 15+ RWHP and RWTQ after they switched to different tuning. Also, I know of several cars that blew up their engines as a result of his ****-poor tuning. If not for a performance standpoint, at least change it to save your engine! I guarantee you will pick up a lot more power too, and the car will run a lot better.

Thanks, for the input. I am way ahead of you I have since went with ASM mid length headers and high flow cats for emission reasons. I am looking into getting the car dyno tune this spring, since the season is almost over for me. I do have a spohn torque arm that I still have to put on the car and 3.73 gears to put in. I figured those should at least get me in the 11's with all that, but just wondering if I could probably get there if I worked on my 60'. Do you have any good ideas how to launch with a M6?

I can launch an A4 anywhere on almost any tire, but I've never taken an M6 car down the strip, just on the street. What is your suspension set-up like, and what tires are you using? Those can have a LOT to do with launching the car.
Also, good choice on headers, hte AS&Ms will suit your car a lot better than Pacesetters.

Definetly look into a dyno tune, it'll be worth it.
Otherwise, just keep practicing, you'll learn what is best for your car...three is going to be a happy medium between bog and spinning like crazy. A little spinning will probably be ok, depending on the tire you're using.
But no 1/8 mile smokeshows.
Good luck!
Eric
Best way I have found to launch a M6 car:
If the track is prepped fairly well, it won't take a huge burnout on ET Streets to cut a decent 60'. The burnout will take some experimenting and will vary with track conditions.
I bring the RPMs up to around 35-3800...then nail it and drop the clutch around 4200-4500 RPM. The momentum of the engine revving will help keep the car from bogging (providing the car hooks). I have cut pretty consistent low 1.8 60's this way and our track prep here is $hit. I generally run 13-15 psi in the et streets.
Practice, practice practice.

If consistant 1.91-1.93 are not good enough then don't waste your time reading this......ah its going to be short anyway.
I heat up the nittos....just a little spin to clean, hardly any smoke off them. I bring the revs up to 1000rpm
and let the motor and gears do the work! I run the nittos with 26-28psi in them too. My best 60' has been a 1.85 with that very technique. Sounds borring but unless you got a 12bolt and et streets or slicks you could blow the stock rear.
I think with your M6 you should go 4.10's if your gonna keep it all motor. With some Nittos and the technique above the massive torque your 383 makes should put you well into the 11's Call Jason at Thunder racing he drives/races M6's and can steer you in the correct direction for your goals.
Good luck!
I plan on breaking the 11sec barrier within the next couple of weeks.
