Talking 11.13 on DRs

Figured I'd post this hear since the drag section is pretty low traffic.

Gotta say I'm pretty happy Joe was kind enough to meet me at the track and get the car idling like a champ in no time. Unfortunitely we only got to make a few shakedown runs because I missed test and tune. I managed to screw the first one up by not adjusting the shifter cable and launching in 2nd gear 11.5 at almost 119 with only 2nd and 3rd isn't too shabby. Again Joe came to the rescue
I could only manage a 1.57 60ft on the drag radials which led to an 11.13 at almost 121. I can't wait to datalog some passes next weekend and get her dialed in. Might need a taller tire though. The DA was at +2000ft. The new cam is hitting hard and is going to take some serious tuning. Luckily, Joe has that department very well covered It was still cool to almost hit 10s on my street tires
Thanks again Joe for helping me inbetween rounds. Your car was flying yesterday.

What type of DR's were you running. Pretty good 60 foot for the tire you were running. Did you flash the stall of Hold the RPMs. How High did you footbrake it if you held the RPMS.

Re: 11.13 on DRs

Nice times James almost exactly how my car ran last year. My 60' was 1.58, with the stock rear with 3.42's, 7.19 1/8th and 11.24@120.8mph. I can't wait until my new heads back from Lloyd. I guess we won't be able to run this year b/c the shootout has been canceled. Later Clint
