Unhappy 1/8th mile help!!!

Someone please help me out here, I have a 2000 Z28 M6, !FRA, !EGR, !CAGS, not a real biggy, stock exhaust and everything else, Goodyear GS-C's, my fastest time is a 9.239 @ 80.53, 60ft time was a 2.393, launching around 1400rpm, or close to it, do I need to lower my tire pressure, I havn't changed it since I had the car, only had it for about 2months now. I live in Jax. Fl, kinda humid down here, but we don't race untill midnight untill 3 in the morning(midnight drags) mostly imports but a bunch of older 5.0's and GT's, only saw one SS and maybe 3 Z28s, not sure what their times were though. If anybody could help me out here, I would appreciate it!! TRY not to laugh at my times

Thumbs up

You just gotta practice your launches. Something different works for everybody. There is no exact way you HAVE to launch.

Try lowering the psi in your tires, try different rpms, try feathering the clutch out.

Don't worry about your times, they will get better once you get your launches down.

I realize that you are in Fl but your mph is down. I have seen stock LS1s that run 83-84. Maybe your car is super heavy and really hot. Maybe a thermostat(160) would help. If your car doesn't trap more when it gets colder, something might be wrong.

Hope you get it figured out.
