Post whos running constant open loop?

Hey guys just wondering how your cars seem to be working only running open loop. I think thats what I need to do in order to get my ride 100%. What circumstances forced you guys to only run open loop? Mine runs prefect in the first 10min of warmup(open loop) once the car gets warmed up and enters closed loop im losing 60RWHP right off the bat. Tuning was/is being done by Ed wright. Guys any info you have would be great, and thanks for all the help!!

Sounds like your tuning is off then, unfortunately you can't edit Ed's work unless it was done long enough ago he didn't lock the PCM.

I ran Open Loop because of a fairly large cam, just got tired of closed loop, for most people cc306 and smaller there is no reason to bother with open loop, its rather a lazy way out and is likely to give you terrible MPG unless you know what your doing.

Thanks for the replys, well Ive sent it back to Ed 3 times and it kept coming back with the exact same problem, all they seemed to do was keep adjusting the AF curve. Car would run great in open loop, once it hit closed, lost 60RWHP. I talked to Ed and he didnt know what was causing it, so I asked him to put it into constant open. I should find out today if this is the solution to my 7 week problem.

What I liked about open loop was it did what you told it every time, so basically I took that route to just fine tune it by hand on the dyno.
