P753--Shift solenoid A electrical

I went to autozone while the my Service engine soon light came on and they put it on a scan master or something, that is what the code read? Does anyone know what i need to do to fix this. The lt1 is in an iroc and i just put a new opti spark and waterpump on. The tranny seems to be shifty alittle early and it shifts into passing gear with a little touch of the throttle. Also the idle is at 600rpm and the moter seems to what to die on me. Runs good until i have to stop. Thanks for what ever help you guys can give me.

Bobby, let me move this over to our "Computer Diagnostics/Programming " as this would be the proper forum for your topics. If you dont find the solution there, i would suggest reposting in LT1 Tech as that is the engine you are working with.

There is a good OBD-II code list on the AutoTap website.

AUTOTAP OBD-II CODES

It is obviously an OBD-II install, because of the "P" designation, and the use of more than 2 digits. The full code is P0753, and AutoTap shows that as "Shift Solenoid 1 Electrical". Would appear to tie in to your shifting problems. I am not real sharp on A4's, but appears the tranny includes a bunch of solenoids for 1->2, 2->3, 3->2, 2->1 shifts and TC lockup. Would appear that the 1->2 solenoid is faulty or there is a wiring problem to it.

The "Computer......." board has been here for maybe 2 years.
