I know it is pretty dead in here, but posing anyhow.

What is the better tuning software for a gen 3 PCM? Based on the MSD failure recently and the fact that my opti is showing it's age, I am going to be swapping to and LS computer and 24x conversion on my 95 LT1. My son is pointing me towards the HP tuners suite, since that is what some of his buddies use, but my only tuning experience was with Tuner Cat on my LT! from well over a decade ago. I don't know what options there are, but probably a handful nowadays, but don't know the best/easiest to use.

 

A reminder - this site is nearing extinction. 130,000 members, and only about a 1/2-dozen active members left, mostly LT1 fans. Don't recall if any of them have done the 24X thing. There is an LS1 owner who drops in once a month or so - might have some input.
