Tuning tips?!? Help me out allittle here!
I just got every thang to tune my car but I have a few questions! First what kinda chip does the factory use? I mean the exact factory equipment. 1993 z28. I need to know this because I wana copy the factory chip to my pc , but the program has differant voltages for each differant chip and if i don't select the right chip I will fry my stock chip and have nothin to work with!
Also once I get the bin copyed can I just put the new bin on a AT29C256 chip with no "SPECIAL" programing and plug it right up to my car and go!?
Now for the tuning stuff. What are some thangs I can change to get allittle more performance? I have no clue what any thang does in tunercat and I don't wana blow the engine. So what are some basic thangs I can change to get alittle more power?
Thanks for the help

That's something you're going to have to screw around with a little. On a stock car the stock programming is actually quite aggressive. In most cases, it actually has too much timing. I would set it up so that you get 36-38* at wot.
Part throttle stuff is also something you're going to have to experiment with. I would start out by adding 1 or 2 degrees in the rpm and map range that you're driving in under most conditions and see what effect that has on the car. Butt-o-meter is about all you'll be able to use to tell though. You might feel that the car just feels "smoother"...not sure how else to describe it.
