tuning the new TA with new mods

i work for the avionics division of MALS 31 (Marine Aviaiton logisitics Squadren) and built my self a cable that would do well on an f18 (durable wise) anyway i am deceiding that i need a tune as people have told me that when i get the car running tomm that i will most likely have a ****ty car. I put in a 224/230 XE, 1.6, LT's, 2800 Stall, new Valve Springs, and a double roller. When i get my software for the LT1 ( doing a 95 so i dont know the best one to use would appreciate guidence here.) what am i chainging? i also took my AIR! EGR! out. If anyone can contact me on AIM, or threw email it would be appreciated to give me the down and dirty on tuning and the basics of it. and what i should be looking for. The cheaper the better (free if possible) i already spent over a grand on this project. thanx in advance.

Re: tuning the new TA with new mods

Well, let me ask you this. Do you have a basic understanding on what the majority of the sensors do on our cars?. AlsoThe best way to learn how to tune is trial and error and to know someone who is willing to help you. As far as tuning programs I would recomend getting Tuner Cat.
