Talking Tuning with the knock sensor OFF

Last time i was at the dyno we tuned the knock sensor off just for fun, Well i picked up some good power 10ftlbs across the board, hp did not go up but i made 380 from 6200 to 6600rpm insted of just at 6600 rpm(no peak)

With this done i know i have F knock . Some questions, with this my AFR is 12.7-12.8
gas "94"

-will knock show up on the dyno graf
-how much spark knock can the hyperujunk pistions take
-when tuning on the dyno should i keep putting the timming to it untill power drops off(should i try this with the knock sensor off)
-get the AFR up to 13.4 N/A set up

Now everyone is thinking why tune off the knock sensor well i made so more power , i was thinking of pushing my luck with the timing and afr with the knock sensor off

But is there some way to see knock on the dyno. Yes i can and try and tune around the F knock but the car likes it right now.

Any other ides would be great or safty tips , would putting in some 110 gas help tuning
thx

Why not tune it with the knock sensor connected, so you can tell if your tune is producing knock? Then, if you feel you want to take a crap shoot on detonation, and grenading your pistons, run it without the knock sensor, on the ragged edge of the tune. Just keep in mind that the tune will be sensitive to actual fuel octane (can vary quite a bit from the pump), inlet air temp, coolant temp, carbon buildup, and humidity. If you are on the ragged edge of detonation, you can easilly cross the line on a hot day, or with a tank of poor fuel.

I run without a knock sensor (solid roller cam), but I've got dozens of tuning dyno pulls to back up my tune.

Injuneer, i turned off the knock sensoe last pull, after make 7 pulls on the dyno before . just to see what the car would do. i have the knock sensor on but only pulling out 2*, it was just funny to see the car made more power under the curve.

Ya i know i will be playing with fire on the eng but i have allot of f knock, so i am just thinking of playing with it

Any tips
thx
