tunercat --- How to? Desciptions of functions?

i just got tunercat and im looking for a how to and/or Descroptions of all the functions and tables. I have no idea what to change or edit to improve performance. im reading the help files and the manual but that alot of reading. Im sure there things not worth editing in my pcm with my current mods.

Yer best option is to just start readin threads.. I asked the same Q when I got my tunercat setup and had the same result... If you do a google search on tunercat you can find some good stuff.
Try tunercat's link to topica. and if you do a fuel injection search you will come up with more results than you'll know what to do with.

Datamaster and Tunercat has a lot of definitions and formula tables in their respective help files.

First get an understanment of how a PCM works.
http://hometown.aol.com/dvandrews/ems.htm

This will explain some of the LT1 edit tables which you can translate to a Tuner Cat table

Simple LT1 tunning

Here is link to other PCM tunning sites

The more you read and understand what a PCM does, the easier it is to understand what the Tuner Cat tables are!!
