TTS datamaster pcm sync problems

I am working on a 97 z28 with a 95 pcm and I can't get the laptop to sync with the PCM. It will detect the PCM with the "Test Com" function, but will give me the alert "no pcm sync recycling" and never start datalogging. I found the help section that suggests adjusting the ALDL link timing and I have tried that and still have not had any luck. I can program through the cable and read through it with Tuner CAT so I know it works. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Botch

Cool,
I figured it out! I am scanning without any problems. I had to go to Options, Advanced, check "disable ccm handshake" and it works like a charm. I just about gave up, have no idea WTF a CCM handshake is, and just clicked it out of frustration, but it worked!

I have been having trouble getting datamaster to work, but I don't see any of those options anywhere. The only configuration option i have is to select the vehicle type. Pcmcomm, and freescan work fine, but I cannot get datamaster to do anything.

What version are you running?

nope, direct serial, I have a cable from mastach.com. I have 3.4.17 on my laptop, and those options are not there.

These are the only options i have under the setup menu....

you will not find those options until you open the record window,
select file, record aldl data. Once this is open select options, advanced and you will see what he is talking about.
