Smog pump removal, will it setoff any codes?

Smog pump removal, will it setoff any codes?
Does anyone know if removing the smog pump will set off any codes in the computer?

Which car are you talking about? If its OBD II I'm not sure, OBD I and previous, no.

Oops, forgot to mention. Its a '89 Camaro (OBDI). So you answered my question
