Should I bother

tuning my car if I am getting 10 degrees of knock? or should I first solve my knock issue and then tune the pcm?

Thanks

I'd fix the knock first. I'm not sure how... I think to find out if it is actually real knock, you can buy a really high octane gas... and if you still get the knock it should be false knock. If it is real knock, I think it could be caused by carbon buildup if you have a lot of mileage on the block. A band-aid to this could be to retard the timing a bit when you tune it... sure you'll lose some power, but less power than the PCM takes away with the knock retard.

I agree with ablackcamaro. From your et it looks like you have a few mods. Do you have a LT4 knock module? Can you datalog a run? What rpm is the knock starting at?
