set up ildle speed

Hey s.a.tx. guys I have a 94 z-28 lt1 with all the bolt on mods,it ildles at 1100 rpm and it is a a4.Could someone lower it for me,thanks>jake.

Are you sure it is the computer that is making it idle that high?
Are you sure that it really is idling that high, not just by reading the tach?
Has the car had any programming done before that you're aware of?
An A4 shouldn't idle that high, but odds are it isn't the computer commanding that high of an idle speed.

It has had pcm reprogrammed,it runs good but I have to put in neutral to stop, when I put my other stock pcm in it ildes at 780 RPM,thanks>Jake

Send me your .bin/lt1 file and I'll take a look at it to see whats out of wack. There is no really setting idle speed so something is just a little whacky somewhere low.

Yes here are the 2 idle settings under the Tables heading ::

IAC Target RPM Vs. Coolant Temp, (In Drive)
IAC Target RPM Vs. Coolant Temp, (In Park/Neut.)

it worked for me , i set my idle up approx. 75 RPMs more...
