scanmaster won't start

scanmaster won't start

Red wire is 12v, black is ground, white is 4.5v or 4.99v. It won't start ,what are steps to take? I am Lost. Tim

this is what your 16-pin connector looks like... just imagine. you want the red wire at 16, black wire at 04 and white wire at 09. hope that helps.

Thank You Turbo Z!, I have had the wires there. Not working yet. On the circut board the white wire is in the green wire hole. Their is no green wire.

alright then try the white wire at 14 and see what happens. i have my scanmaster set up like i mentioned before but then my tuning cable has white at 04, black at 05 and green at 14.. reds still in 16.

IMO, its a better idea to use power and a ground from somwhere else if you are hardwiring the scanmaster.

99% of the time its one of those $0.02 connectors as the culprit!
