Scan error codes

Is there a free software I can use to scan the SES error codes on my 94 LT1? I have a USB ALDL cable and use tunercat for for PCM programming. I tried Freescan and it would not connect to my car, is this because I am using a USB cable? Any other free programs out there?

It should work, did your USB cable come with a driver, make sure it's installed. Set up FreeScan to the same COM port your PC uses for the USB connection. Select the force data 'interact' radial button on the control screen. ALSO you can try TTS Datamaster EE free download for first 20 scans/logs...
