Reprogramming MASS air versus MAP

I've heard that its preferred to reprogram a hopped up MAP motor rather than one equipped with MASS and it'll make more power because the MASS is a liabilaty due to its OEM only avail size for reading air.
Any thoughts????

Hmmm.... MAP has it's strengths and weaknesses, from what I know anyway. I don't think it's is accurate and I know it doesn't sample information as quickly. but on the other hand it should
compensate for different climates.
You can get bigger and in theory less restrictive MAF sensors, but in my experience, they suck. if you go with MAF I recommend sticking with stock.

You may want to ask this in the advanced tech.
