OBD1 cable from a local store?

Can I go to my local electronics store and buy an aldl cable to hook up into my 94 pcm and connect to my pc? I know nothing about electronics, so if it isn’t a universal type connector, is there a schematic that I can print of the internet and give to my local electronic store?

hmmmm.... I seriously doubt it.
maybe at a performance shop that works with camaro's. but not at radioshack or anything like that. That cable is actually a couple of different vehicle specific pieces.
A aldl connector specific to F-bodys, and a converter set up for that cable.
I've seen plans on the net to build the converter. but you'll need some electronics knowledge. Then you still need to find the ALDL connector.
If you just need a cable to to www.akmcables.com
