Question Question regarding scanmaster.

http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...vid=4&pcid=152 Look at the one at the top of the page.

The Scanmaster is a stand alone product that will display many (21) computer modes for tuning and also display and clear trouble codes.
So can this thing actually tune your car like hypertech programer or does it just read out data?

I dunno exactly with the new ones, but I think they just mean that it can be used for display, and help with tuning as you can monitor things...

However, the older ones, like the one I have, can NOT clear codes, so it does seem they've updated them...

give ramchargers an email, they're the dudes that make 'em

The Scanmaster is a scanner.. nothing more, nothing less. It is whats called a real time scanner because it doesnt really save data that it displays like many other scanners do such as datamaster. And btw hypertech power programers cost WAY too much money for what they do for you car if you are planning on purchasing one soon since you mentioned it. If you are looking for some real computer tuning then check out www.madz28.com.
