Programming out CPS?

Anyone know how to do this? All it did was throw false codes last year and if I get rid of it I can use a cloyes timing chain....how can it be done?

You can program the code out with LT1edit, but it well not pass obdii emmision tests. You could use a LT4 hd set. These are realitive low rpm engines with moderate spring pressures.

I dont have to worry about OBDII emission testing around here....just a visual and I have connections anyway. The reason Im thinking of going with the cloyes is for strength and price over the LT4 set up.....I would have to go with an Electric WP though.....hmm.
