pcm lock up?

Hi, just got my program from Bryan at pcmforless. I was able to read and save my stock program, but when I tried to program it, it stopped in the middle of it and displayed communication w/ pcm lost.... Is my pcm locked up? If so what will I need to do and how much will it cost? thanks Josh

Someone out there has to know something about this..Everytime i try to read or program it displays error: pcm not responding.. If it is locked up, what caused it? I had everything turned off fan, radio, etc..

I read and saved stock program fine, then when I went to program the program from pcmforless it stopped in the middle of program and gave that display.. Now when I turn key to on position the fan comes on.. what caused this?

Your done...

Alexis, Your PCM is done. You will need to send it off and get the flash chips re-flashed. Whe you program, the first theing the program does is erase your flash in order to put your new flash on there. If it dies in the middle of the program, the flash programming is incomplete and theres no going back. The PCM now no longer knows what to do. Basically, it's lost and the PCM is unusable until you get it fixed. I'm sure you can get ift fixed for under $80. Maybe more closer to $40 or $50. Check with Andrew at AKM Cables. He'll know where to send you if he won't do it himself. Let me guess, you were using Tunercat, right?
