Opti deleted PCM LT1

IF I were to use the LT1 harness on a gen 1 engine that has been converted to EFI, how would I get the signals the PCM needs from the now defunct Opti? I'm thinking of dropping a Gen 1 383 into my 95Z and using the existing harness and PCM but using a distributor instead of the Opti.

You would have to find a way to mount the optical sensor in the distributor. I've heard of someone here who has done that. Might need a "search" on the Advanced Tech forum to find it.

It'll be tough. Most people put gen 1 blocks but go carburated.
