LT1 Edit-IAC follower

I have a couple questions about the IAC follower vs. MPH table in LT1 Edit.

First, what values should I start at? Is there any way of knowing?

Second, the values that are in that table-are they 'just a number', or are they the actual counts of the IAC, like you would see on a scan tool?

The reason I ask the second question, is that in the table I think I have the values starting at about 25 (I am at work and I don't have my laptop to look at it), but on AutoTap, the IAC counts are much higher. Is this right, or is something wrong? When comming to a stop (M6) the car wants to idle at about 2000 rpm from about 35 mph till you come to a complete stop, then it will drop down and idle like normal. I am just trying to figure out what my problem is.

Thanks for any help you can give me!

As I understand it, the throttle follower is how many IAC steps is added. This is when you are traveling x mph and let completely off on the throttle. The IAC adds a little more air to make sure the engine does not suddenly stall. What you see on data logs is not what is in the follower table as these are added to whatever steps are already being used by the IAC.

Just make some changes and try it out.

I have an A4 and this was my situation. My car would jump up about 500rpm and return to normal when going into park. Going into gear, the opposite occurred. It would drop to 600 rpm and then back normal. I reduced the "steps" in this table all by 33%. It now doesn't overshoot and then correct itself like it use too.

Oh I see, that makes sense. Thanks!

Thanks for the tip-I'll try something like that.
