You need to find out whether its a faulty O2 sensor on one side, or if you really have a condition that is causing it to have to pull almost 5% out of the right side, while adding almost 8% to the right side.

First, swap the O2 sensors from left to right, and see how the BLM"s respond. If the BLM's "switch", you know its a sensor problem, if they stay skewed the way they are now, its not the sensors. Just remember, you will need to drive the car for a period after the O2 sensor swap, to allow the BLM's to adjust and stabilize, and since you only looked at a single "cell", you have to drive at exaclty the RPM and throttle position you were at when you recorded the data.

After you resolve whether its a sensor problem, you need to look for problems like exhaust leaks, vacuum leaks, misfires, leaky injectors, etc.

It would also be helpful to have the BLM's for a number of cells, and not just the cell that happens to correspond to the point you were driving, in terms of RPM and throttle position.

thanks injuneer,

I should also look at the cell too while at same mph and rpm also.. I really dont know what cell # was at the time. Could this be why I get crappy mpg....Just got scanmaster last week so I will be asking alot of question.. Or should I do searches here.. Thanks again

Have you read my online writeup on the ScanMaster? That will help you understand the "cell" concept.

http://members.aol.com/InjuneerZZ/ScanMast.htm

Problem with the ScanMaster is the need to rapidly scroll through the available data screens to figure out what cell you are in, then back to the RBL/LBL screens to get the data. Helps to have someone in the passenger seat with a pencil and paper. To me, you need both the ScanMaster for instantaneous display of the data, and a software scanner/data logger to collect more data over a longer period of time.

Injuneer I have the old 1 . I need to copy the new 1 thats a little different then the 1 I have got. Thanks for the replies. I live in the country so I can cruise like at 60 mph for a while so I can log and take my time and just cruise. I know what you mean about switching modes..
